I am participating in my 3rd ever Ride and this year, I’m doing my first ever Century!
My thought is simply this... Even 100 miles on a bicycle is nothing compared to a single cancer treatment. I pray that my 3 sons never ever have to worry about this horrible disease. We can find a cure, but we need help!
I’m riding (as always) in honor of my Grandfather, Henry Wojdan who passed away in May 2004. He had prostate cancer. My father in law, Glenn Fritz was diagnosed with leukemia and is currently being treated with daily prescription meds to counter its advancement. Lastly, a good friend of my family, Julie Peebles was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer and is currently being treated at Roswell. Her husband Brian, and son Cameron are in our thoughts and prayers constantly. We know countless other lives affected by cancer. I’m doing what I do because they’re strength makes me feel stronger.
You can make a difference in the fight against cancer by supporting my fundraising efforts. In fact, for every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help me reach (and exceed) my fundraising goal. Together, we can help fight cancer and save lives.
Thank you and may God Bless you and your families.
