This is my third year participating in the Ride, and am challenging myself to the 20 mile ride. Last year I chose the Slow Roll ride, which was the inaugural ride leaving from right in front of Roswell. Having the patients – those that are actually fighting cancer – cheering us on and waiving from their rooms as we left brought tears to my eyes. I started participating in the Ride for Roswell because I love riding my bike. Doing something I love and helping others in the process is a bonus. Now it’s become important to me because I feel like I’m part of something bigger than all of us put together, working to make a difference. I ride because I can. I ride for those that can’t. I ride with the hope that one day a cure will be found.
Won’t you please consider making a donation today? No amount is too small, and any donation will be much appreciated. Together we can help Roswell find cancer cures and save lives.
With much appreciation,
