To be honest, I haven’t lived very long. I might not be very well seasoned (neither figuratively nor literally). But I do live in a time where life has challenges and roadblocks every part of the way. These challenges can be as simple as catching onto the flu for a day or two, or as complicated as being one of the unlucky individuals to have life-plaguing problems like cystic fibrosis, or even cancer. Though quite thankfully, just as there are bad things and bad people in this world, there are good things and good people to fight and weaken these relentless issues, in this case, cancer. Oh boy… where to begin. The best answer was to help Goin' Bald For Bucks and Roswell Park fight cancer. I honestly feel like we are all impacted by cancer, even if we are’t diagnosed with it. So I’ve decided to join this war; People versus Cancer. I’ve joined my middle school’s Goin' Bald For Bucks team so I can not only potentially save others, but to save the grief, pain, and sorrow from the spectators of this cruel, cruel game. I know because I’ve felt it. And if having little to no hair for a few months is the only cost, then we might as well be at the Dollar Store, finding simple yet effective methods to help others. So really, just remember this: somebody always has it worse than you. And there is always a way to help them. So? Are you ready to help us out?
