Well It's going on almost 2 years! Caleb's hair is still growing! Not once has he asked for a hair cut. Not on the hot days. Not when he gets called a girl. Not when it's all over his face in that hockey Helmet! Caleb still stays focused on making an impact on someone else's life! That right there is amazing for a 9 year old. He realizes what he is doing will make someone else happy. It will give someone else hope and a small piece of their confidence back among their troubles!
This will be Caleb's 5th year participating in Goin Bald for Bucks. Shortly after he began this adventure it became in honor of his Grandpa Keith who would be battling cancer in the following years. Grandpa didn't miss a year. He was always there for Caleb at each assembly. Speaking and acknowledging the children and adults participating and volunteering. In September this year Grandpa Keith went to heaven. He will not be physically there with Caleb but he will be there without a doubt!
Caleb has been getting the "You look like your mom." Which I assure you HE DOES! :) He gets called a girl on a daily basis now at least once. He has learned to handle it well. When he gets made fun of in school he responds by asking "what have you done good lately." Caleb has grown so much by doing this and I can not express how proud I am to be his mom!
Please help Caleb by giving a donation to this wonderful cause! Caleb would love to not only meet his goal but break it! All money raised goes directly to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Thank you for reading and even more THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING CALEB AND A GREAT CAUSE HE BELIEVES IN!
